I don't agree to "if you have her original B Certificate, she was not
adopted.."
I don't have proof but believe it to be true. I was told that your
original Birth Certificate has the same State Number as the adopted
one does. I also heard that some people was lucky and sent after
a copy of the adopted one and got sent back a copy of the original.
You don't want to tell them you want a copy of the original, just a
copy of the birth Certificate.
Do you know where this girl went to School? Church? These two places
would be the ones she used her correct name with. . I wish you lots of luck in finding what you you want.
I have a newphew whose has gone through part of grammer School and 2 years of High School,
under his mothers 2nd husband's name, in place of his own.
WHY? His Mom made him change his last name but not properly. She wanted to hurt the boys dad and Grandfather
and really had no reason to do it.
His mom took him practically away from his dad and now she is paying for it. The boy
has been in trouble. He quit school at 16. The mom does not care.
It is sad. I am praying he completely straightenes up when he gets
away from his mom.
Good Luck
Evelyn
