What an active list, I just joined and have so many interesting digests to
read already.

I am looking for the death record of my gr.grandmother who was born Ann
Elizabeth or Eliza HART, she married Charles Dennison ROGERS IN 1854 - they
were apparently divorced in the 1860's, probably in NY.

In 1880 Ann Eliza was running a boarding house in St.Paul MN under the name
SMITH, widow, I suspect that this was to distance herself from her former
husband, but perhaps there was a Mr.SMITH. None of the family ever heard of
him.

Ann Eliza died in 1899 according to the family, she was living in San
Francisco with her daughter Mary Eva (Rogers) BUSCH and her husband William
Henry BUSCH, who I believe was a banker.

If someone could look at the death index for Ann Eliza Rogers in 1899 I
would be very grateful, and if I can return the favour here in BC please
let me know.
