Thanks for this info Walt, I was wondering how my ancestors born in the
1790's had photos taken around 1860, I now have both the sets of my CA
Hamrick pioneers parents
photos! They are Nimrod (uh-huh) and Mariah Adams Hamrick and Elizabeth and
Mr. Rhoades these people are my great great great grandparents, I think its
amazing I found these photos and I think we are talking some long
generations here!
My great greats were born in 1823 and 1826, (Jesse and Elizabeth Rhoades
Hamrick)
and their parents were all born in the 1790-1800 range, the above named.
My great grandmother, Sarah Hamrick Martin was born 1852 and my
grandmother, Lulu Martin Wright in 1885, my Mom in 1927 and me, the fourth
generation born in CA in 1952.
Are these long generations? Mom to Granma was 42 years.........thanks,
Jill
Abraham Lincoln was photographed in
: 1839 to you can see how it was passed on very quick. It only took a few
years
: for the photographers to take their trade to the west.
