WOW, Kenne! YES, I think it is likely. Lucinda, Joshua, and Edward
ABBOTT were all born 1852-6 which would have put them in school at about
1860+. How does that fit? Are there any school lists of students?
Lucinda married a FOX. Joshua married Maggie ARNOLD. Other relatives
were ARNOLD, BOX, BURNS, EPPERSON, EPROSON, FINE, FOX, SCHROEBEL, in
Calaveras Co.
Could I write to your grandpa? I wouldlove to get some "ambient" info.
Have you got any oral histories from him? Get him started telling
stories and tape him. He's priceless. My mom used to say "Aunt
Polly----" "Ulncle Steve---" etc, but I never asked who was ---? Now I
argue with her, but she doesn't answer anymore. Once I proposed that
NORCAL sponsor a seance of the "old geeks" so we could get some answers,
but it never got off the ground. Maybe we need a sweat lodge.
Something.
