PROCLAMATION BY THE GOVERNOR


Whereas, it has come to the knowledge of the executive that on the tenth day of October, 1873, A.B. Noland was assassinated by one Jiff. K. Jones, in the county of Faulkner, and the said Jiff. K. Jones is still at large.

description of Jiff. K. Jones: about five feet 10 inches high, gray eyes, light hair, weighs about 140 pounds, marked on one arm with letters or anchor in India ink, has a scar on his forehead, and is about 24 or 24 years old.
