Joyce, that 's a cute story. I know just which grave you
mean. I know of some of our relative's there. Have you
ever seen the Wright grave on the right side headed west
marked Wright and no first names? It puzzles us as it could
be some of our relations but we can't find out as the
cemetery records burned a few years back. Also the most
westerly graves on the right facing west are Huggins and
Morris. Thomas Huggins would have been some sort of a
cousin to my husband. His father, Thomas Huggins, was one
of the first constables in Neptune City. The original
Thomas' sister was Mary Anna Huggins Wright who was my
husband's grandmother. The Thomas that is buried there had
a wife who was Minnie Morris. Her father, who was in the
revolution is buried next to them. It took us a while to
find them. The rest of the family is in Mt. Prospect.
Norman's cousin , who is 97 and her room mate at Manor by
the Sea, another Minnie Morris will be buried across the
road from each other in the newer part of the cemetery.
They were neighbors in Bradley Beach for years. I told them
one day we stopped to visit their husbands and they said to
say hello they miss your nagging. They got a kick out of
it. I wish the people in Neptune Township Hall were
nicer. I would like to go thru the records to see if I
could find those Wrights.
