No, I wasn't looking for Hudson County meetings and events, since my entire menagerie is from the southern NJ counties. (My handle of "Delaware Dolores" only covers the past 20 years; I grew up in Millville, Cumberland County and still go there regularly.)
My point was, when you go to the GSNJ site below, even if you tap the "update" button, you get 2007 events, working backwards through 2006, etc. At first, this made me think the April event described was 2008 -- coming, instead of past.

Joan says you're about to update, which is great. In fact, I'm thrilled to hear that this April you'll be comin' on down to God's country! There are some strong historical societies downstate, but no actual genealogy organization, so this should interest a geographically-mixed audience.

We're getting ready to announce our annual Spring Program and it will be up on the website soon after. -- But to give you all a sneak peek... > > We'll be meeting in Avalon NJ (Cape May County) on Saturday, 26 April.> Marie Varrelman Melchiori, CG. will be the featured speaker. Why not make plans now to spend a weekend in beautiful, historic Cape May County?! (I'm planning on convincing my husband to make a weekend of it - I'm hoping to do some sight seeing! See you all there...)> > Regards> Joan
