My name is Dorsie Nix Parrent . I was wondering what line of Nixes you were
from. I go back to William Nix and to a Ezekiel Nix who was my GGGreatgrand
father.Ezekiel married a Dorothy Crompton Ezekiel was born Jan. 28 1808 in
Ga. He died in 1880. They had a son Luke Nix who had a son James Anderson Nix
whose son came from that union my granddad William Oliver Nix born in Red
Bay Al. in 1887. Luke Nix married a Mary Sapbrana Belue who we can't find
much on. My dad's first mother was mostly choctaw .My great grand James
Anderson (J.A.) married a Sylvia Rosa Cole whose was cheerkee. We can"t substanuate
that on paper. Sylvia was the daughter of Calvin and Lucinda Cole. Does any
of this ring a bell? I am curious and would like to hear from you.
