Shirley; I started to reply that I had never heard of Ludie
NIX but when I looked in my files I DO have a Ludie NIX. She is the
oldest daughter of Gurley Tillison NIX and Mary Elizabeth ENGLE. She
was born 8 Aug 1877. Other children are Jacob Thomas, b.16 FEb 1879,
Tyree W., b. 20 Aug 1880, Cason C. b.3 Jan 1882, Ada b.12 pr 1886,
Lela, B. 16 Oct 1896 and Allie B. 29 May 1898. I have nothing about
her Spouse or her date or place of death. Do know that the parents
left Alabama and were reported in several places in LA, and are
buried in LA.
If this matches your Ludie, then I have additional
information that I can share.
