No - that was a presbyterian (protestant) church.
He may still have been a catholic but married in the Pres.
However McLaughlin tends to be a Catholic surname and Bailey more protestant. Patrick was a catholic christian name which would confirm that they were a catholic family. Being married in a protestant church would say to me that one of them was a protestant at the time of marriage.
