Downpatrick Cathedral Graveyard
MCKEE
Erected by William McKee of Ballyrennan to the memory of his wife Sarah
ANDERSON who departed this life on the 17th Novr 1866 aged 56 years. Also
his daughter Elizabeth who departed this life on the 20th Ag 1865 aged 24
years. Also his son John who died in New York 23rd Feby 1858 aged 19 years.
Also the above mentioned Wm McKe who died 18th April 1885 aged 87 years.
Also his daughter Sarah who died 10th March 1929 aged 81 years. Also his son
William who died 3rd September 1932 aged 86 years.
MCKEY
I.H.S. Erected by Mary McKey of Downpatrick in memory of her husband George
McKey who departed this life 21st June 1833 aged 26 years.
Killyleagh presbyterian Graveyard
MCKEE
(Large slate stone laid flat) Erected in memory of James McKee of Killyleagh
who died 7th November 1835 aged 71 years. Also his daughter Jane McKee who
died 8th Auagust 1936 aged 22 years. Likewise his daughter Rose who died
11th Aapril 1851 aged 46 years. Also his only son James who died 1st Jany
1875 aged 67 years. Likewise his relict Martha McKee who died 29th Novr 1875
aged 102 years. Also his daughter Mary who died 20th May 1893 aged 88 years.
(The will of James McKee, late aof Killyleagh, county Down, farmer, who died
1 January 1875 at same place, was proved at Belfast 18 January 1875 by the
oaths of John BROWN and Hugh BROWN, both of Tullychin, Killyleagh, farmers,
and Alexander Martin of Killyleagh, merchants, all in same county, the
executors. Effects under 450 pounds.
The will (with one codicil) of Mary McKee late aof Killyleagh, county Down,
spinster, who died 20 May 1893 at same place, was proved at Belfast 27
September 1893 by John BROWN and Hugh BROWN, both of Tullchin, said county,
farmers, the surviving executors. Effects 494 pounds 5 shillings.)
MCKEE
(In a low stone enclosure with GIBSON stone) Erected by Ann McKee to the
memory of her beloved husband John McKee of Mullough who died 26th January
1885 aged 60 years. Also their daughter Mary Jane who died 10th August 1866
aged 4 years. Also their daughter Margaret who died 3rd December 1882 aged 9
years. Also her daughter Amelia McKee died 17th October 1902 aged 25 years.
Also her son James McKee died 24th January 1905 aged 32 years. The above
named Mary McKee died 18th July 1921 1ged84 years.
(Modern tablet at the foot of above stone) McKee. In memory of Annie, died
27th August 1967. Amy died 14th May 1873. With the Lord.
MCKEE
(White limestone tablet in surround, mounted on graveyard wall) Erected by
William McKee, Killyleagh, in memory of his wife Catherine who died 18th
July 1876. Also their two children Georgina and Willie who died young.
MCKEE
(Against graveyard wall) Erected by William McKee in loving memory of his
wife Mary who died 18th April 1917. Also his daughter Margaret who died 25th
January 1897. The abovenamed William McKee died 17th January 19135.
MCKEE
(Polished granite headstone, not seen) The family burial ground of Henry
McKee, Tullykin. Andrew McKee died 28th September 1898. Jane wife of Andrew
died 7th Oct 1929. Jeanie wife of Henry died 24th April 1931. Also the above
Henry died 31st March 1934. Andrew Mckee died 25th December 1979.
Saul Graveyard
MCKEE
Erected in memory of John McKee of Saul who departed this life the 10th of
September 1811 aged 71 years. Also his brother James McKee who departed this
life the 11th of April 1817 aged 70 years. Also his daughter Elizabeth, wife
to John CAMPBLE of Lisbane, who departed this life the 14th of February 1845
aged 64 years.

(In a railed enclosure) Erected by Elizan McKee in memory of her beloved
husband William McKee of Quoile who departed this life 24th October 1862
aged 63 years.
A husband dear, a father kind
Lies here, to earthly dust consigned.
Great is the loss that we sustain
But hope in Heaven to meet again.
Also their son John who died young. Also the above Eliza McKee who departed
this life 31st October 1880 aged 74 years.
(The will (with one codicil) of Eliza McKee late of Qyoile, county Down,
widow, who died 1 November 1880 at the same place was proved at Belfast by
William COATES farmer and Fanny COATES, widow, of Quoile, the executors,. 4
November 1881. Effects 234 pounds 6 shillings 6 pence.)
MCKEE
(Limestone headstoane) In loving memory of Capt. Hugh McKee, Quoile, who
died 27th August 1894. Also his son William died from wounds received in
action on 30th August 1916, buried at Military Cemetery Puchevillers,
France. Also his grandson Charles dies 31st December 1915. Also his son Hugh
died from wounds received in action on 6th September 1918. Buried in
cemetery at Lomme Le Miterie, France. Also his wife Charlotte, died 3rd
March 1951. Erected by his wife and family.
CASEMENT
Erected to the memory of Thomas Casement of Quoile who departed this life
16th May 1802 aged 51 years. His son William on the 20th May 801 aged 19
years. His wife Deborragh on the 20th Apr 1832 aged 80 years. And his
grandson Robert MCKEE on the 22nd Febr 1845 aged 40 years.
