Hi Beverly!

All that I can tell you about our Grace Nicholson is that she was still
single as of 1937, which would make her 36 or 37 years old. She was a witness at
her sister, Dorothy Agnes Nicholson's marriage, which occurred on Nov. 20th,
1937, and Grace's surname was given as Nicholson at that time. Her residence
was given as Montclair, NJ.

On the 1930 Census for Montclair, Essex Co., NJ, Grace and her brother, Edwin
were not listed. So they must have been out on their own already. All the
other children were still in the household, but were still single at the time.


Dorothy Agnes Nicholson married Peter Francis Killeen, and Francis Vincent
Nicholson married Margery Elizabeth Creasy.

This is all the information that I have so far. Was your father's cousin,
Grace Nicholson born in New York? If so, where? I am assuming that our
Nicholson family may have lived in the city (NYC) or near the city, as the 1920 NJ
Census shows them living across the river from NYC in West Hoboken, Hudson Co.,
NJ. The youngest child of theirs was born in NJ, so they moved to NJ some
time between 1905/06 (when the next to last child was born in NY) and May 1907.

Keep me posted, as to what info. you have on your Grace Nicholson. It may be
that she is a member of the Arthur J. Nicholson family. Thank you.
