i have now found out that herbert came from ruabon denbighshire which is not that far away from shropshire.He was one of 5 sons of william nicholas [1860] and ellen bennett [1865] the other were frederick [1891] joseph[1895] alfred[1997]and frank[1899].

William had 12 brothers and sisters they were frederick[1858] isaac[1862] llewelyn[1864]jane[1866]emma[1868]they mother was elizabeth morgan[1833].They father thomas nicholas[1832] married again to
Jane lewis[1832] and they went on to have norman[1871]edward[1875]edith[1876]thomas[1878]clara[1880]laura[1881]and last of all ethel[1882].I am not 100% about the dates, but if you known of this family i would be very pleased.
