I just read the Obituary for Margaret F. (Hurley) Cox. She passed away
on March 19, 2000. Margaret was the daughter of James and Nellie
(Colter) Hurley. Nellie is the daughter of John Charles Colter and
grand daughter of Samuel Robert Colter, Jr. who is a son of Samuel
Robert Colter, father of Elizabeth Ellen Colter.

I just spoke with Don Allen of Sandusky, husband of Betty. Betty is a
sister of Margaret's.
If I am correct, this makes Betty our fourth cousin once removed.

Does anyone know, is this the same Hurley family that lived in
Deckerville in the 1960s?
