Hello!

I am new to the list and would like to post interests as well as asking
about researching in Grafton.

I am researching Tabers and Bullocks in Grafton and Canaan, Lowells in
Canaan. I am working on descendants of these families. I would love to
get in contact with other descendants of these families. I also have
ties to Martin, Fitch, Aldrich, Ford and probably Wheat in Grafton.

I am planning a trip up to Grafton in October to do research on these
families. I saw a note that some Grafton records were destroyed in a
fire and wonder what records were destroyed? What kinds of records are
still available and where is the best place to research? Can anyone
recommend a place to stay in the area?
