My sister was Patricia Wheeler married to William Harrison Wheeler of Cabot, Vermont. My niece has done research on this family. Cynthia

Hi Joan,
On quick look at census pages, there were 20 NELSON households in NH in 1820. Most were in Hillsborough Co. I don't see Salisbury, NH, mentioned, and I don't know which county it is in. So, I'll go find out.
Oops. I went back to 1810 and found 2 NELSON households in Salisbury:
NELSON, LEVI (1810 U.S. Census)
NEW HAMPSHIRE , HILLSBOROUGH, SALISBURY
Series: M252 Roll: 24 Page: 235
NELSON, STEPHEN (1810 U.S. Census)
NEW HAMPSHIRE , HILLSBOROUGH, SALISBURY
Series: M252 Roll: 24 Page: 232
Oh, my early-morning eyes missed these in 1820:
NELSON, JONATHAN (1820 U.S. Census)
NEW HAMPSHIRE , HILLSBOROUGH, SALISBURY
Series: M33 Roll: 61 Page: 101
NELSON, STEPHEN (1820 U.S. Census)
NEW HAMPSHIRE , HILLSBOROUGH, SALISBURY
Series: M33 Roll: 61 Page: 101
WHEELER is a popular name in New England. I'll check for that couple in 1860 in a few minutes.
Betty (near Lowell, MA)
