Subject: [NHGEN] WHEELER / NELSON couple, before 1850's

I just reread your note and see that your Dennis WHEELER died in VT before the 1860 census, so I wouldn't be able to find him. And, there were several WHEELER families in 1820, but I'm not finding a Dennis mentioned.
There were many WHEELER people in VT in 1860. But, I'm not finding Mrs. Adeline WHEELER (widow of Dennis). Do you have an idea when the couple moved?
There is this lady in 1880, listed as a boarder in someone's home. But her information differs from your information:
WHEELER, ADELINE (1880 U.S. Census)
VERMONT , WASHINGTON, BARRE
Age: 63, Race: WHITE, Born: VT
Series: T9 Roll: 1348 Page: 14
Betty (near Lowell, MA)
P.S. There were ~100 NELSON people in VT in 1860. And ~120 people in NH in 1860.
