I'm sorry but I was asleep at the wheel on this one. I saw the original post come through but all the TEXAS info caused me to immediately ASSUME that this was not any of my line. Thanks to your reply James, I took another look. I believe that the subject George W. New was a son of William Franklin New (born NC) who was a son of Robert W. New (born Halifax Co, VA). This Robert W. New was a brother to my James New (my gg-Grandfather born Halifax Co, VA). I have copied below some of my info from William Franklin New down. If Stephanie will contact me directly via email I'll share more of the info including George's ancestors.
