I just received some convincing evidence that my Martha NEW is a.k.a.
"Patsey" NEW (b. 1795), daughter of John Foster NEW (b. 1762 - d.
1842). Martha "Patsey" had married William DALTON sometime before
1820.. probably in Warren Co., KY. (Martha "Patsey" & William DALTON are
my GGG-Grandparents.)
Does anyone have any information regarding John Foster NEW and/or
members of his family?
Also... does anyone know if there is a relationship between John Foster
NEW and Jethro NEW? It is curious that they seemed to have followed a
similar migration pattern: VA>NC>Warren Co., KY>IN... (What was the
attraction to Warren Co., KY in the early 1800's?)
