Hello,

I have just connected up with a former, high-school classmate   (AHS62) and
we have been chatting on-line.     When he found out I do genealogy,  he
asked if I could find out anything about his parents:

Edward LOFTUS and Julia HELLY married in 1939 in MA,  and had arrived after
1930, possibly 1935.

I was wondering if anyone else was researching these surnames.     He has
only given me a few other details, so far.

He says that both families came from County Mayo.

P.S.
As I told him this week,  we went to high school with like 200 classmates,
and I'll guess not one of us thought about the "family tree"  of the other
classmates.     So, I would not have known that his parents had only arrived
like 10 yrs. before he was born.

P.S.2      My Irish ancestors  (and my husband's) arrived during the
1800's.)
