Hi,
My g-grandmother Bessie PAYNE (HUDSON) came and lived in Hardy, Nebraska after leaving Granby, Missouri in 1908 or so. She had her two boys, Eugene and Tom with her and they went there to be near Uncle Frank (JF Holly) and Aunt Sarah, who apparently had a daughter and maybe a son Keith? The Holly's lived on a farm, and Aunt Sarah had brothers who owned nearby farms. Bess and the boys rented a house within 2 blocks of the telephone office where Bess worked. My grandpa, Eugene, wrote down what he remembered about Hardy, mentioning his friend Willard whose father owned the butcher shop, his cousin Keith, Doc Coffman, Josh Souper, and other things...
I have a couple pictures of "Uncle Frank" Holly but that's it. Any help anyone can offer in finding who Aunt Sarah was, or Frank's parents especially, would be greatly appreciated. And if anyone would like a copy of my grandpa's memories of Hardy, Nebraska, just drop me a note.
Thanks,
Thomas Payne
