LOUISIANA - Dorthy Naoma Neikirk, 78, of Hannibal and formerly of Louisiana, died Friday, May 25, 2007, at Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal.

Funeral services will be at l p.m. Tuesday, May 29, at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana. The Rev. Mark Sheppard, assisted by the Rev. Francis Sheppard, will officiate. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Louisiana.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.

Dorthy was born Nov. 23, 1928, near Eolia to Joseph and Hazel Howdeschelle Marshall.

She was married to Robert "Frank" Neikirk.

Survivors include two daughters, Helen Jo Neikirk and Andy Leigh Young, both of Aurora, Ill.; two grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Max Marshall of Frankford and Melvin Marshall of Festus.

She was preceded in death by one son, William Neikirk Jr., who died in 1958; two brothers, Joseph Marshall and Bob Marshall; and three sisters, Juanita Petty, Margaret Heath and Lillian.

Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, in care of Collier Funeral Homes Inc., 117 Barnard Dr., Louisiana, MO 63353.
