My name is Paul Ellis Palmer. My grandmother is Edith Moon Gruwell
(daughter of Harriet Neibaur Moon, daughter of Hyrum Neibaur, son of
Alexander Neibaur. The Gruwell/Palmer family has always been proud of
Grandpa Neibaur.

In 2000 we had a Gruwell Reuion with about 60 family members in Nauvoo in
honor of Grandpa Neibaur. We went to the ball diamond in the park when his
farm once existed. We wanted to take a group picture at the location of his
house. An argument ensued as to whether we should stand in left field on on
home plate. It was hot and tireing of the "friendly" disputation taking
place, I yelled for everybody to get in the shade of a large tree and we
proceeded with picture taking with out further discussion. And a good time
was had by all!

I check the Calendar and saw the only reunion listed already happened in
2000. Are there any plans in progress for a future reunion?

I would like to point out an error in the Descendancy list. Under Edith
Moon Gruwell I found the following:

Edith also married (2) *Orvall M. GRUWELL* - Living.

Grandma only married once to Orval Merrill Gruwell. The error apparently
occurred when someone misspelled grandpa's name using two l's in stead of
one. I hope someone can delete the erroneous listing. Thank you.
