I've "rescued" an old photograph of the family home of A. L. KRAUSE in West
Point, Nebraska. It is a postcard type photo so I'm guessing that it was
taken sometime in the early 1900's. Based on limited research I was able to
gather information regarding the KRAUSE Family as follows:

I believe that the home belonged to Alonzo KRAUSE b. 24 Aug 1869 in Ontario,
Canada to parents Florando Ernest KRAUSE Sr. (b. 5 Mar 1834 in Zirke,
Prussia) and Mary MITCHELL (b. 3 May 1843 in Ontario, Canada). Alonzo was
one of 12 children born to the couple including, Ida; Charles; Florando
"Eugene" Jr.; Edmund; Alonzo; Adolf D.; Minnie; Emma; Wanda; Lottie; William
H.; and Ralph KRAUSE all born between 1862 and 1887 in Ontario, Canada and
NE.

Census records provide the following information:

1910 census of West Point, NE:

Alonzo L. KRAUSE, age 40, married 18 years, born Canada, parents born
Germany/Canada, to USA 1870, Owns Real Estate & Loan Office
Jessie E. KRAUSE, wife, age 37, married 18 years, 1 child/1 living, born NY,
parents born England/NY
Alexander R. KRAUSE, son, age 12, born NE
Alexander ROSE, father-in-law, age 77, married 40 years, born England,
parents born Scotland/England, to USA 1833
Mary J. ROSE, mother-in-law, age 63, married 40 years, 1 child/1 living,
born NY, parents born NY

1920 census of West Point, NE:

Alonzo L. KRAUSE, age 50, to USA 1870, born Canada, parents born
Germany/Canada, a Real Estate Agent
Jessie KRAUSE, wife, age 47, born NY, parents born England/NY
Alex KRAUSE, son, age 21, born NE

I am hoping to locate someone from the family so that this wonderful old
photograph of the family home can be returned to the care of this family.
