Buried in the Wood River Cemetery, Hall County Nebraska
I am trying to find out more about my grandmother's McFarland family.
My grandmother was Henrietta McFarland from LaSalle CO.... Her father was George William McFarland...... I am looking at new information about a James McFarland in Kearney that may be George's father....based on this census info George William was born in 1873 in Iowa, he died in 1918 in LaSalle CO.
In my grandmother's writings she says her father was from Wood River, NE. He died when she was very young. She remembers that her father's father came to visit when he died, but does not remember any communication with the family after that.
I found J. W. and Alley Anna at the Wood River Cemetery and am wondering if they fit into my McFarland family.
If anyone knows about their family, I sure would love to hear from you.
