I would be interested in any photos of the Gilmer and Minter families. If you have a scanner, that would be great. Where in Europe was John Earl Gilmer killed and is he the John Earl Gilmer buried in Rose Hill Cemetery beside a Minerva Alice Smith Gilmer? Is she possibly a first wife as she was only 6m 24d 28y at time of death. I have John Earl Gilmer's parents as John Gilmer and Mary Virginia (maiden name unk) and Ethel Naomi Minter's parents as William H. Minter and Mary Frances Hedges. Thank you for answering my query.
