Lately there have been some very broad request. Remember volunteers are
doing the lookup as a favor and have there own research and projects. Below
is a reminder on the rules. Please try to pin point the lookup to one
family, in one county, and one census year in any one request. KEYWORD is
ONE.

READ THIS BEFORE MAKING A LOOKUP REQUEST

-First check the links section to see if the info you need is online so you
can look for your family.

-The list operates by each researcher helping others. There is no guarantee
that you will get an answer.

-Limit lookup requests to ONE email request per day.

-The subject line should read - YEAR/COUNTY/SURNAME

-NO General requests such as "all Smiths in all counties."

-Be specific, try to supply as much info about the family and/or location as
possible.

-NO FLAMING. By this I mean not only being rude or mean to each other but
there will be NO debating here about the Census Projects.

-This list is for everyone who wants to research.

-Posting of virus warnings, chain letters, test messages, political
announcements, items for sale, or current events IS NOT ALLOWED.

-Violation of the rules will result in immediate removal from this list.

-If the above guidelines are not followed your request will probably be
ignored by list members.
