My Thomas Jones sold his land in Wilkes Co., NC in 1783. It appears likely that he then went back to Franklion Co., NC where other family members lived and from there went on to Wilkes Co., GA where he appears on a tax role in 1785. His wife was named Mary. Thomas Jones died in Jackson Co., GA in 1811.
