Announcing the forthcomingl book, THE HERITAGE OF STANLY CO., NC - 2002!

Walsworth Publishing Co. is coming to Stanly County to publish a new book.
It will be a part of the prestigious North Carolina County Heritage series.
The collector's edition, hardbound heirloom book will highlight stories of
Stanly County people, past and present. Even if you only have roots in
Stanly, you are eligible to submit a free 500 word story and photo. To

invited to attend a special meeting on Monday, April 30, 7 PM at the
Boardroom, 135 W. Main St., Albemarle. Accuracy will be assured by the
individual author, who will be listing sources at the end of each article.
Who better to prepare the chronicle of one's family than a direct descendant
of that family?

Stanly joins Anson, Cabarrus, Richmond, Union and the forthcoming Montgomery
Co., Vol. III in the publication of a County Heritage book. There are more
than twenty North Carolina County Heritage books printed by Walsworth (who
incidentally printed the 1992 Architectual book about the area).
