Maudine Simmons Rogers

(January 18, 1934 - September 5, 2004)

DILLON

Services for Maudine Simmons Rogers will be held 4:00 P.M. Wednesday in
Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Kentyre Presbyterian Church
Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 P.M. Tuesday in Cooper Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rogers, 70, died Sunday, September 5, 2004 in the Pines Nursing Home.

Born in Robeson County, NC, January 18, 1934, she was the daughter of the
late Ivy Simmons and Madge Arnette Simmons. She was the widow of the late
Ansel Rogers and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her daughters, JoAnne (Michael) Miller of Dillon and
Shirley Jean (Thomas Edward) Rogers Jacobs of Darlington; son, Johnny
(Doris) Rogers of Dillon; sisters, Hazel Norris and Linda Sue Loflin, both
of Thomasville, NC; grandchildren, Vickie Annette Owens Floyd, Angela Owens
Zurcher, Thomas Andrew Jacobs, Shana Michelle Jacobs, Brandon Keith Norton,
and Katherine Ann Norton; great-grandchildren, Brandi, Kristen, and Lindsey
Zurcher and Ryan Floyd.

Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Kick and brother,
G.C. Simmons.
