Yep, same here. I am the only one in my entire family that seems to be
interested in the family history. They all consider me an "oddball" for
traipsing about in cemeteries and digging into records, and some of them
wished I'd "mind my own d___ business, etc...." The only ones in my family
with any interest at all are on my wife's side of the family who're
originally from Perquimans and Chowan, and a few of my cousins who want to
know more about my mother's Rice and Steele ancestors in Tennessee and
Virginia.
