Thanks Elizabeth......By the way, last 2-3 days I have been getting 2 of all
the Lenoir list post
I have a copy of the will of William Hooker (typed)1717 and one of his son
William(typed from book but was taken directly from copy of original it
says). It seems the will is written in 1756. There is one abstract which
gives 1736, but the will mentions his daughter Sarah Hooker and she marrys
Nicholas Askew between Oct. 1756 and Jan. Court 1757.
A Hooker researcher I talked to last year gave me definatly the date of 1736
and knew that was too early for this to be the parents of the Lassiters who
were in Greene and
Lenoir. (Jacob Lassiter and Ann Hooker)
DAR records do not show this is right spouse. They show Sarah Harrell. I
have found NO proof for Jacob Lassiter and a wife Sarah Harrell. Does anyone
out there have any?
Rose
