Looking for parents of Penelope (Penny) BALLANCE, b. 1824 - 1836
depending on which census you believe. BALLANCE families seem to be
mostly in Currituck and Hyde Counties.

She married James Dawley MOSELEY, Jr., in June 1850, and was enumerated
with him in the 1850 census in Princess Anne Co., VA.

Their first son was named after her husband's grandfather, Tully Thomas
Moseley.
Second son, Dennis D. Moseley (a great uncle was named Dennis Moseley)
Third son, Oscar D. Moseley
