I am always willing to sing Annie Lee's praises; have done so all my life,
as does the rest of my family. She comes from a long line of natural-born
genealogists, and has helped all her family more than you can ever imagine.
I credit her with every bit of knowledge I have about my dad's ancestors, and
for teaching me the principles I needed when I started looking into my mom's.
Now, Annie Lee is new to all this list business, and I'm going to ask the
rest of the list for a couple of favors. First, since I just wrote off line
to her and explained how it's preferred netiquette to only quote the
pertinent lines in replying, especially on a list, I hope all of you try to
set a good example here...:).
And Second, although she knows a ton and has a heart as big as the Outer
Banks, please don't swamp her with too many requests all at once.
Of course my ulterior motive for the latter request is that I've been waiting
for years for her to get an email address (which includes badgering her
son-in-law about it last year in email), and I want first dibs. Hahahahaha.
Just kidding.
Or maybe not. :)
