There is nothing except the filing you found for Henry Bankston. I'm sure
you know that Sarah was the guardian.

(p.30) WILLIAM BANKSTON. Last Will and Testament dated Jan. 3, 1809,
probated March 13, 1807. Gives to wife SARAH and "my children" (unnamed),
the whole estate. Executors: Wife SARAH, and JONATHAN MELTON. Witnesses:
JACOB BANKSTON, AARON PARKER, LEVY (LEVI?) BANKSTON.

Bankston, Wm., Clarke Cty, d. 1807, w. Sallie Stroud d/o John and Margaret
Stroud Connelly Stroud

This is the entire lineage of Sallie Stroud's parents, grandparents,
siblings, etc. (NJ, PA, NC, GA). She was the eighth child, b. 1777, m.
William Bankston.

Paraphrased: John Stroud, Sallie's father was born 1732, N.J.; died 1807,
Ga., a Revolutionary soldier of N.C.



I'll check for Wills for the Strouds. Perhaps the named their grandchildren.
Nope, John Stroud named his surviving children and the children of his
deceased son.

On the death of William Bankston in Clarke County, GA a guardian bond

was issued as follows:



Clarke COUNTY, GA - WILLS - Administrator-Guardian Bonds (partial)
Georgia Courthouse Records - Clarke County
Book "B" Administrtors and Guardians Bonds

Decedant Admr date of Bond Sureties

William Bankston Sarah Bankston July 2, 1811 Jacob Bankston



My question is if there is a record of his children in subsequent court
action in

books 806 or 807.



There was a similar bond for Henry Bankston and in later court action

his children were named.
