Hi! I'm the list administrator for the Rootsweb Nagode
surname mailing list. Ours is not a terribly active
list - there are only 5 of us here.

In general, the name Nagode is found only in a few
specific parts of the US. If we talk amongst
ourselves, chances are good of finding a common
connection.

My own family traces to Johannes Nagode who came from
Hotedersica, Slovenia in 1903 and settled in Colorado
Springs with his brothers Anton, Matt and Frank. He
later came to Canonsburg, Pennsylvania where the
family settled. Matt and Anton remained in Colorado
Springs. By 1953, Frank had returned to Europe.

There is another Frank Nagode family from Midway, PA
with common roots in Slovenia but I do not have proof
of a direct connection.
