I am related to McPhersons in Ohio/Dearborn Counties, but have not been able
to relate them directly to the other family there. My ggg-grandfather was
William McPherson, born about 1814, in Ireland, according to census records.
He was married in Ohio County in 1861 to Lucinda Clawson Knapp, who had four
children by a prior marriage. Together, they had at least four children:
Isabella, Mary Louise, James and Emma. William died sometime between 1861
and 1870.

I'd love to hear from anyone who can connect these McPhersons to the others
in the area. I've visited the area this summer but did not have a lot of
time to spend and was not able to find how they are related.
