I'm looking info on Amanda McCarty her mother was a slave named Elizabeth, her father was master either Simpson McCarty (4/11/1816 - died 1892) or Asa McCarty I was always told Simpson McCarty but while surfing another site his son Asa McCarty has a daughter named Amanda but no information on her, and at that site her mother is "martha" no last name, while I was told that her mother name was elizabeth.
