Sept 1, 2007

David W. Kinsey, 57, of Sumrall, Miss., died Sept. 1, 2007. He was
preceded in
death by his mother, Ina Mae Kinsey, and a brother, William C.
Kinsey. Burial
will be in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.Honor Corinne Slider,
81, of Greene
County, Miss., died September 1, 2007, in Greene County. Mrs.
Slider was born
November 29, 1925 in Laurel, Miss. She was preceded in death by
her parents,
Oliver C. and Sarah Ward; and her husband, Donald S. Slider.
Burial will follow
at Magnolia Springs Cemetery in Hurley, Miss.

Walter M. Trehern, 90, passed away September 1, 2007. His parents
David and
Amelia Trehern preceded him in death. Interment will follow at
Machpelah
Cemetery in Pascagoula.

James Edwin Wells Sr., of Moss Point, Miss., passed away Sept. 1,
2007, in
Mobile, Ala. He was born June 11, 1921. He enlisted in the Army
Air Corps
during World War II, serving in Europe as a flight engineer and
gunner on a B-
24 bomber. Edwin was captured by Germans after being shot down
over France in
June 1944 and a prisoner of war for the remainder of the war. Mr.
Wells was
decorated on his return to the United States with a Bronze Star,
an American
Theater Ribbon, an Air Medal, the World War II Victory Medal, and
later the
Prisoner of War Medal. He was a faithful member of the Kreole
United Methodist
Church for many years and was recently a member of the Dantzler
Memorial
Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Griffin Cemetery in
Moss Point with
full military honors given at graveside.

Sept 2

Samuel Wilson Duvall, 79, died on Sunday, September 2, 2007. He
is preceded in
death by his former wife, Faye. Interment will follow at Machpelah
Cemetery in
Pascagoula.Gwendolyn Diane Tench Hronek, 61, of Gautier, Sunday,
Sept. 2, 2007.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Becca Hronek-Stacy; and
her parents,
Leonard and Willene Tench. Funeral Services will be held
Wednesday, Sept. 5,
2006, with Brother Larry McVeay of Bethel Missionary Baptist
Chruch in Gautier
officiating. Interment will follow in Serene Memorial Gardens.

Khaliah Alyssa Magee, 1 month and 19 days old. Khaliah was born
July 13, 2007,
at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, Miss. She departed this
life on Sept.
2, 2007. She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother,
Martha Magee, and
great-grandfather, Thelma Sims, Sr. Graveside service will be held
Saturday,
Sept. 8, 2007, in First Baptist Cemetery in Moss Point with Elder
Jeremiah
Armstrong, Pastor of Freewill Pentecostal Church of God,
officiating.

Infant Joseph Larkin Walker Jr., four months old, entered eternal
life on
Sunday morning, Sept. 2, 2007. Interment will follow in the
Babyland Section of
Serene Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Rhoda Bell (Pannell) Whisenant, 89, born on Oct. 26, 1917, in
Union
County, Miss., went home to the Lord on Sept. 2, 2007, at Benndale
Personal
Care Home, Benndale, Miss. She was preceded in death by her late
husband, H.H.
(Whiz) Whisenant, son, Wilburn H. Whisenant, sisters, Icie Thomas,
Sylvia Hill,
Ovie Mae Pannell, and Hattie Pannell, and her brothers, Amory
Pannell, Andrew
Pannell and Buford Pannell. Burial will follow in Crestlawn
Memorial Park.

Barbara Jean Hamilton, 78, of Pascagoula, Miss., passed away on
Monday, Sept.
3, 2007. She was born Aug. 23, 1929, in Pascagoula and has been a
life long
resident. She was a lifetime member of First United Methodist
Church in
Pascagoula. Mrs. Hamilton is preceded in death by her parents,
Eugene Ernest
Trehern and Caroline Isabelle Trehern. Interment will be at
Greenwood Cemetery,
Pascagoula.

James Michael Wallace, 49, of Moss Point, Miss., passed away
Monday, Sept. 3,
2007, in Moss Point, Miss. Mr. Wallace was born March 27, 1958, in
Moss Point.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Theron and Sally
Lindsey and a
grandfather, A.H. Greenough. Services for Mr. Wallace will begin
at 11 a.m. on
Friday at Heritage Funeral Home with the Rev. Tod Bowen
officiating.

Lola Margaret Frossard Weger , 89, died peacefully on Monday,
September 3,
2007, at her home in Moss Point, Miss. She is preceded in death by
her husband
of 67 years, Stanley Maurice Weger; sons, Terry Spencer and
Charles Michael,
who died in childhood, and grandson, SPC Michael Spencer Weger,
who was killed
in Iraq in 2004. A grave-side service at the Biloxi National
Cemetery.

Mrs. Joann Almond Burns, died Sept. 5, 2007. She was born Nov. 30,
1922, in
Vallejo, Calif.. She moved to Gautier, Miss., in 2005 to be near
her daughter.
She was preceded in death by 16 siblings and her husband, Ed
Dunning. There
will be a private family service.

Dorothy Elizabeth Dunning, died Sept. 5, 2007. She was born Nov.
30, 1922, in
Vallejo, Calif.. She moved to Gautier, Miss., in 2005 to be near
her daughter.
She was preceded in death by 16 siblings and her husband, Ed
Dunning. There
will be a private family service.

Christine G. Majure, 93, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Wednesday,
Sept. 5, 2007,
in Houston, Texas. Mrs. Majure was born in Rhodes, Miss., in 1914.
Mrs. Majure
was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert E. Majure;
her son, Eugene
J. Majure and daughter-in-law, Ursula Majure.

Pauline Hart Smith, 86, of Pascagoula, Miss., passed away
peacefully on
Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, at Sunplex Subacute Center in Ocean
Springs, Miss.
She is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, George
B. Smith;
parents, Judge Edward and Florence Hart; two brothers, Marvin C.
Hart and James
M. Hart; two sisters, Lorraine Hart who died as a child and Doris
Brown;
nephew, Philip Jones. Interment will be at Jackson County Memorial
Park in
Pascagoula.

Mrs. Grace Wilkes Shields, 91, of Helena, Miss., died Wednesday,
Sept. 5, 2007,
in Gautier, Miss. She was born Sept. 17, 1915, in Auter, Miss.
Mrs. Shields was
owner and operator of Shields Grocery in Helena for 25 years. She
was a member
of Temple Baptist Church in Big Point, Miss. Mrs. Shields was
preceded in death
by her father and mother, Mr. Dave Lacy and Mrs. Kitty Jo Rodgers
Wilkes; her
husband, Mr. Frank Marion Shields; six sisters and two brothers.
Interment will
follow in Serene Memorial Gardens, Escatawpa.

John Boyce Hogue, 92, of Pascagoula, Miss., passed away Friday,
Sept. 7, 2007,
in Pascagoula. He was born on Nov. 4, 1914, in New Albany, Miss.
He is preceded
in death by his two children, Ronald Boyce Hogue and Norma Hogue
Hinton, both
of Pascagoula. Funeral services will be Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007,
with a graveside
service beginning at 2 p.m. at Jackson County Memorial Cemetery in
Pascagoula.

Eather Coulter Bowman, 91, of Pascagoula, died Friday, Sept. 7,
2007, at her
residence. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Sam Coulter
and Ottis
Bowman; her parents, Eugene and Nancy Anderson, and one son, Jerry
Coulter.
Burial will be in the Rock Hill Cemetery in Sumrall, MS.

Carolyn Vann Bodden, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, in Pascagoula,
Miss. She was
born Nov. 28, 1945, in Pascagoula. She was preceded in death by
her husband of
40 years William Thomas "Tommy" Bodden Jr.; her parents Sam
Wilkins Vann Sr.
and Ina Mae Hollinghead Vann of Moss Point; and one sister
Katherine Vann
(Edward) Evano of Moss Point. Burial following at Machepelah
Cemetery with
Reverend Michael Perry officiating services.

Ann Sumrall Lott, 68, or Pascagoula, Miss. -- formerly of
Hattiesburg, Miss.,
and Purvis, Miss. -- died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at Singing
River Hospital in
Pascagoula. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Thomas
Wesley Lott.
Burial will be in Sand Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Jones
County, Miss.
Eric Dwayne Phillips Sr, ., 37, Born Jan. 7, 1970, in Moss Point,
Miss. He has
lived in Montgomery, Ala., for the past year and a half. He is
preceded in
death by his grandparents, John and Orlean Phillips and Mrs.
Odessa Walker, one
sister, Theresa Phillips. Internment: Bethlehem Cemetery, Barton
Community,

Nicholas "Nick" Eugene Reddix, 29, died of cancer, Sept. 8, 2007,
at Good
Shepherd Hospice Center in Auburndale, Fla. Born on Oct. 10, 1977,
in
Pascagoula, Miss. Visitation will be held Saturday, Sept. 15,
2007, at 10 a.m.
until service time at 12 noon at Davis Chapel United Methodist
Church, 3671 Big
Point Rd., Three Rivers. Burial will be held at the church
cemetery.

Mr. Tombs F. Shell Jr., 83, of Gautier, Miss., passed away
Saturday Sept. 8,
2007, in Pascagoula, Miss. He was born on May 5, 1924, in
Apalachicola, Fla.
Mr. Shell is preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Shell; his son,
David Shell;
and his brothers J.D. Shell, Edward Shell, and Ersel Shell.

Mr. Jay (Toot) Williams, 57, of Pascagoula, Miss., departed this
life Sept. 8,
2007. He was born Feb. 10, 1950, to Shirley Williams Brown and
Amos McCants. ,
29, died of cancer on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at Good Shepherd
Hospice Center
in Auburndale, Fla. Born on Oct. 10, 1977, in Pascagoula, Miss.

Gulfport, Miss. She was born in Moss Point, Miss., on Oct. 10,

William Ralph Harris, 65, of Pascagoula, Miss , died Monday, Sept.
10, 2007, at
his residence. Mr. Harris was born March 13, 1942, in Oxford,
Miss., to the
late Allonia M. and Jewel G. Harris. He was a United States Army
Vietnam
Veteran. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a
sister,
Glenda Sue Harris. Interment will be at Machpelah Cemetery in
Pascagoula with
military honors.

Mrs. Arlene Inga Allman, age 89, a former resident of Ocean
Springs, Miss.
passed away Sept. 12, 2007 in New Orleans, La. She was born March
9, 1918 in
Toronto, S.D. Arlene and husband, Paul were the owners of Allman's
Restaurant
in Ocean Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave
and Ellen
McLaughlin; husband of 61 years, Paul William Allman; two sons,
Victor Wayne
and Paul William Allman; two brothers, Arnold and Robert
McLauglin. Friends may
call one hour prior to service time at the church. Mrs. Allman
will be
transported to Eldow, Iowa for burial in Eldow Cemetery.

Mr. Michael Bodden, 32, of Moss Point, Miss., passed away
Wednesday Sept. 12,
2007, in Pascagoula, Miss. He was born in Pascagoula on July 9,
1975. He played
football at Moss Point High School when they won the state
championship. He
then went on to play football at Delta State University. Mr.
Bodden is reunited
with his grandparents Alfred G. and Lucille Bodden and Albert P.
McGowan Sr.
Burial will follow at Machpelah Cemetery of Pascagoula.

Pamela Veronice Lynn "Ronni Lynn" Little passed away Sept. 10,
2007, in
Pascagoula, Miss. She was preceded in death by her sister,
Jennifer "Mary Lee"
Little. Memorial services will be held Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007,
at 6:30 p.m.
at Church on the Rock in Pascagoula. Rev. Rodger Bradley will be
officiating.

Mrs. Rita Margaret Miller Loftus, 85, of Pascagoula, Miss., died
Wednesday,
Sept. 12, 2007, at the Plaza Community Living Center in
Pascagoula. Mrs. Loftus
was born Oct. 30, 1921, in Ponchatula, La., to the late Margaret
and E.C.
Miller Sr. She was a homemaker and loved camping, traveling and
watching the
Atlanta Braves and New Orleans Saints. She was a member of Our
Lady of
Victories Catholic Church in Pascagoula. In addition to her
parents, she is
preceded in death by her husband, N. S. Loftus Jr.; a stepmother,
Beulah
Miller; a stepfather, W. T. Baudry; three brothers, Irvan Miller,
E. C. Miller
Jr., George Miller and a sister, Beatrice Cunningham. Interment
will be at
Serene Memorial Gardens in Moss Point.

Mrs. Kathry Lorene McCurry, 79, of Lucedale, Miss., died Sept. 13,
2007.

Mrs. Loryce Boykin Hathcock, 80, of Moss Point, Miss. died
Saturday, Sept. 22,
2007, after a lengthy illness. She was born Sept. 14, 1927, in
Sharkey County,
Miss.

Mr. Frank Joseph Klemm, a resident of Gautier, Miss., and former
resident of
New Orleans, La., died peacefully at his stepson's residence in
Gautier on
Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, at the age of 81. He was the former
owner/operator of
Frank J. Klemm Limousine Service of New Orleans. Mr. Klemm was
preceded in
death by his brother, Salvador Frank Klemm; his father, Frank
Peter Klemm; his
mother, Cora Agnes Tedesco Klemm; and his wife, Dorothy "Pat"
Curtis Klemm.
Funeral Services to be held in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen and Son
Funeral Home
at 3827 Canal St. at N. Scott, New Orleans, La. Interment will be
in Greenwood
Cemetery in New Orleans.

Patsy Ann Capps Lidgard, 71, of Ocean Springs, Miss., passed to
her final home
with God on Sept. 14, 2007. Patsy was born in Mobile County on
Dec. 26, 1935.
She lived in Whistler, Ala., until she met her soon to be husband,
Richard
(Dick) Lidgard in 1955. Patsy was the daughter of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Vernon
O. Capps of Whistler. She was also predeceased by her brother,
Cecil Capps and
sister, Joy. Services will be conducted at Wesley United Methodist
Church on
Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007. Interment service will be at the Biloxi
National
Cemetery on Monday, Sept. 24, 2007, at 9 a.m.

Mrs. Amalia "Molly" Pemberton , 79, of Gautier passed Saturday,
Sept. 15, 2007,
peacefully after having a stroke. Mrs. Pemberton was among the
first class to
graduate from Jackson County Junior College. Molly was a
practicing RN with a
BS degree from Loyola University in New Orleans, LA graduating in
1979. She is
preceded in death by her parents, Irene and Bell Tullus.

Albert Lee English Jr., 43, died Sept. 15, 2007, at Singing River
Rehab in
Pascagoula, Miss. He was born March 27, 1964, to Albert Earl and
Mary English.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Earl (Billy)
English;
grandfather, Sammie English; and grandmother, Charity Foster.
Visitation will
be Friday, Sept. 21, 2007, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Little Rock
Missionary
Church, 4912 Gautier Street, Moss Point. Funeral services will
begin promptly
at 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Cortez Keeton II
officiating.

Miss Kelda Theresa Spence, 31, born in Mobile, Ala., and current
resident of
Ocean Springs, Miss., died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007. She was
preceded in death
by her grandfathers, Capt. Doc Collier and T. J. Spence. Interment
will be in
Pine Crest Cemetery.

Mr. L. B. Whirls, 58, of Moss Point, Miss., died Sept. 15, 2007.
Mr. L.B.
Whirl, was born Jan. 17, 1949, in Schlater, Miss., he was the
third child of
the 13 children born to the union of the late Ella Wee Rias and
Albert Whirl
Sr. Mr. Whirl departed this life on Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, in
Moss Point,
Miss. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday,
Sept. 21, 2007,
at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Magnolia Street, Moss Point.
Funeral
services will begin promptly at 11 a.m. from the church with Rev.
Joyce Gant,
officiating. A second visitation service will be 11 a.m. Saturday,
Sept. 22,
2007, at Roberts and Sons Mortuary, 524 Greenboro Street, Winona,
Miss.
Interment will be in Bethel C.M.E. Cemetery, Black Hawk, Miss.

Joan Eddingfield, 71, of Gautier, Miss., died on Saturday, Sept.
15, 2007, in
Ocean Springs Hospital. She was born Feb. 15, 1936, in Green Bay,
Wis. She is
preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Larry "Tiny"
Eddingfield.
Graveside service with military honors will follow at Biloxi
National Cemetery.

Ronnie Carroll Ford , 60, of Lucedale, Miss., died Sept. 15, 2007,
in Lucedale.
Mr. Ford was born on January 5, 1947, in Bessemer, Ala. He was
retired tool
room foreman with Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding. He served in the
United States
Air Force and attended Community of Christ Church in Escatawpa,
Miss. He was
preceded in death by his father, Ben C. Ford and nephew Jeremy E.
McQueen.
Burial will follow in the Community of Christ Church cemetery in
Escatawpa,
Miss.

Mr. George Berry Jr. passed away on Sept. 16, 2007, at the age of
73. He was
born in Simsboro, La., on March 5, 1934, to the late George Pierce
and Eula
Belle Bullock Berry Sr. He was preceded in death by his wife,
Patricia
Cruikshank Berry, and parents, George Pierce and Eula Belle
Bullock Berry Sr.

Mrs. Ruby Lee Womack , 68, passed away Sept. 16, 2007, at her home
in Gautier,
Miss., after a long battle with COPD. She was born May 8, 1929, in
Greensboro,
Ala. Mrs. Womack was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was a
retired
assistant manager for Jerry Lees Grocery after 33 years service.
She was the
owner of M&R Trailer Park in Moss Point for many years. Mrs.
Womack was
preceded in death by her parents; Mack and Lula Stevens; son,
Terry Lee
Newburn; brother, Buddy Stevens; sister, Jewel Booth;
great-granddaughter,
Adison Rose Lindley and husband, Murel Womack. Funeral services
will be at 2
p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, from Holder-Wells Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev.
Larry McVeay and Rev. James Miller, officiating. Entombment will
follow at
Jackson County Memorial Park in Pascagoula, Miss.

Hardy Eugene "H. E. " Bradley, 65, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, at
Rush
Foundation Hospital, Meridian, Miss. Born in Unity, Miss., he was
the son of
the late Eugene Nevels Bradley and the late Sarah (Allen) Bradley.
He was
preceded in death by his brother, Rex Allen Bradley Jr. Funeral
services will
be held Sept. 19, 2007, at 11 a.m. from Agricola Cemetery,
Agricola Cemetery
Road, Agricola, Miss. Interment will follow in the Agricola

Mrs. Eula C. "Preat" Tanner Garrison, 75, of Decatur, Miss.,
formerly of
Harleston, Miss., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007, in Decatur.
She was born
Sept. 18, 1932, in Harleston. She is reunited with her loving
parents, Aaron
and Sadie Tanner; her brothers, Teedy Tanner, Dick Tanner, Robert
Tanner and
O'Neal Tanner; and her sisters Margie Roberson, Rebecca Franklin,
Sue Carol
Floore, and Willa Dean ButlerBurial will follow at Tanners Chapel
Cemetery of
Harleston.

Jerry Jerrell Wilson, died Sept 18, 2007. Born Aug. 10, 1988, to
the union of
Jerry and Renee Wilson of Pascagoula, Miss. He was preceded in
death by his
grandparents, James Wilson Jr. and Dessie B. Wilson. Interment
will be in
Machpelah Cemetery, Pascagoula.

Mr. John Frank Kirkpatrick Jr., a native of Benton, Ark., and
resident of
Mobile, Ala., died on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, in a local
hospital. He was
preceded in death by his parents, John Frank Kirkpatrick Sr. and
Edith
Kirkpatrick; his brother, Paul Kirkpatrick. Burial will be in
Refuge United
Methodist Church Cemetery Lucedale, Miss.

MR. RICHARD TIMOTHY DICKERSON, 60, of Lucedale, Miss., died Sept.
19, 2007.

Margaret Charlene Hall, 83, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, at
Mercy Medical in
Daphne, Ala., following complications from a stroke suffered in
June 2007.
Margaret was born in Birmingham, Ala., on Feb. 9, 1924. She grew
up in Cruger,
Miss. Sh married Hubert Armistead Hall, who was in the Army Air
Corps, and they
traveled around the world for the next twenty years. They remained
together
until his death in 2000. Margaret was preceded in death by her
husband, Hubert
Armistead Hall and a daughter, Linda Kay Hall Gelberman. Burial on
Monday,
Sept. 24, 2007, at 2:30 p.m. at Poplar Springs Cemetery in
Cascilla, Miss.,
where Margaret will be laid to rest beside her husband and dearly
beloved
daughter, Linda.

MRS. BARBARA ELAINE SCOTT, 72, of Lucedale, Miss., died Sept. 20,
2007.

Reverend James B. Cook Jr., 55, of Helena, Miss., passed away
Friday Sept. 21,
2007, in Pascagoula, Miss. Rev. Jim Cook was born on Sept. 29,
1951, in
Potsdam, NY. He retired from Chevron, and enjoyed being a Pastor,
woodworking,
fishing and being with his family. Rev. Jim Cook is reunited with
his parents
James B. Cook, Sr. and Marlyn Agnes Cook; and his son James B.
Cook III. Burial

Flora Dorothy Hudson, 88, of Wade, Miss., died Sept. 21, 2007, in
Lucedale,
Miss. Mrs. Hudson was born Sept. 25, 1918, in Neshoba County,

homemaker and a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Hurley,
Miss. She
was preceded in death by her parents George and Lizzie Bishsop and
two husbands
John P. Harris and Authur Hudson. Funeral services will be Monday,

Joyce Pat Martin, 72, a former longtime resident of Gautier,
Miss., died Sept.
21, 2007, in Toccoa, Ga. Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her
husband of 49
years, Robert C. Martin; a daughter, Connie Lurlean Martin; her
mother, Lurlean
Webb; her father, J.C. Webb; and stepmother, Edna Carter Webb.
Graveside
services and interment of Mrs. Martin and ashes of her late
husband Robert C.
Martin will be held at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs,
Miss.

Kenneth Lee Strunk, 78, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Friday,
Sept. 21,
2007.Mr. Strunk was a resident of the Gulf Coast since 1975. He
was a veteran
of WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam War, serving first in the
Marine Corps
and then 18 years in the Navy on submarines, which included duties
on the first
nuclear submarine. He ended his 22 years of military service as a
CWO2 in the
Army. Mr. Strunk was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and
Thelma
Strunk, brother, J.W. Strunk, and granddaughter, Heather Strunk.
Survivors
include his wife of 55 years, Joan Strunk, a daughter, Susan Tolar
and her
husband Bruce, all of Ocean Springs; five sons, Scotty Strunk and
his wife,
Liz, of Gautier, Miss., Steven Strunk and his wife, Susan, of
Ocean Springs,
Shawn Strunk and his wife, Linda, of Gautier, Shannon Strunk and
his wife,
Cynthia, of Pascagoula, Miss., and Sheldon Strunk and his wife,
Lisa, of Ocean
Springs; two brothers, Larry Strunk and his wife, Jackie, and
Barry Strunk, all
of McCreary County, Ky., 18 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren
and numerous
nieces and nephews. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.

Curtis Benjamin Turnage, 86, former resident of Pascagoula, Miss.,
died Friday,
Sept. 21, 2007, in Brooksville, Fla. He was preceded in death by
his parents,
John T. and Martha Turnage, and his wife, Buna B, Turnage. Burial

Mrs. Loryce Boykin Hathcock, 80, of Moss Point, Miss. died
Saturday, Sept. 22,
2007, after a lengthy illness. She was born Sept. 14, 1927, in

Hathcock of West, Miss.; a brother, Albert Douglas Boykin; five

Ivon C. Barnes Parker, 79, of Escatawpa, Miss., died Saturday,
Sept. 22, 2007.
Mrs. Parker was a member of the Community Church of Christ of
Es-catawpa, Miss.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Melvin D.
Parker; her
father and mother, Noll and Gracie Barnes; her brothers, Elbert,
Leroy
(Calvin), Curtis, Otis and Myron; and one sister, Margie Barnes
Miller. Burial

Mrs. Clara Louise Baker died Sept. 23, 2007, at the home of one of

Atasca I. Joiner, 82, of Vancleave, Miss., passed away Sept. 24,

home. She was born Feb. 22, 1923, in Mobile, Ala. She was a

the Baptist faith. Mrs. Joiner was preceded in death by her
parents, Dewey and
Maybelle McCall, and husband, Quitman Joiner. Interment will be at

departed this life

parents; a sister,
Eula Dronet; a brother, Walter Nunez; son-in-law, Harry L. Krebs
and a niece,

William "Bill" Anson Ballow Jr., 90, died Wednesday, Sept. 26,
2007, at George
Regional Medical Center, Lucedale, Miss. Born in Marengo County,
Ala., on Aug.
21, 1917, he was the son of the late William Anson Ballow Sr. and
the late
Rebecca (Torbert) Ballow. He was preceded in death by his first
wife, Nelda
Parmer Ballow; grandson, Derrel Tucker; five brothers and sisters.

Ms. Mona K. Redmond Miller, 49, of Pascagoula, Miss., passed away
Wednesday,
Sept. 26, 2007, at her residence. Born Feb. 5, 1958, in
Pascagoula.She was
preceded in death by her beloved mother, Glenda M. Beyer on April
6, 2007.
Interment will follow at Jackson County Memorial Park.

Patricia Idilene Ryan Poole, 57, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007,
at her home in
the Franklin Creek Community of Jackson County. She was born Aug.
25, 1950, in
Pascagoula, Miss.She was preceded in death by her father and
mother, Mr.
Charles Ryan and Mrs. Wonette Ryan Cochran; her sister, Carol
Harris and a
niece, Judith Ann Harris. A memorial service will be held on

Mr. William O'Neal Nettles Sr., 71, a resident of Moss Point,

Hospital. He was

Msgt. James Donovan Gautier, Jr., age 88, of Ocean Springs, Miss.
died Sept.
28, 2007, in Collins, Miss. He was born Feb. 28, 1919, in Kreole,
Miss. Mr.
Gautier was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mattie
Gautier; a
sister, Mary Agnes Gautier, and son-in-law, Robert T. Mills. Mr.
Gautier served
during World War II and the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Air Force
and retired
after 21 years of dedicated service. During WWII, he was captured
and was a POW
for 312 years. He survived the infamous Bataan Death March. After
returning to
civilian life, he became involved with the Civil Air Patrol and
retired as a
Lt. Commander. Later in his life, he co-authored a book "I Came
Back From
Bataan" with Robert Whitmore. He was a member of First United
Methodist Church
of Gautier, Masonic Lodge No. 202, Eastern Star No. 37, a life
member of V.F.W.
Post 3373, and the American Legion of Pascagoula. Funeral service
will be 11
a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2007, from First United Methodist Church of
Gautier with
Rev. Ron Stanley and Rev. M.L. McCormick officiating. Interment
will follow at
Crestlawn Cemetery in Ocean Springs, Miss. with full Military
honors at the
graveside. Active pallbearers will be Mickey Baxter, Michael
Baxter, Mitch
Cirlot, Claude "Diego" Stauter and Sam Stauter. Honorary
pallbearers will be
members of the 27th Bomb Group.

Bobby McDowell, 49, of Bay Saint Louis, Miss., died Sept. 28,
2007. Interment
will be held at Lily Grove Cemetery, Lucedale.

Sept 29

Kenneth K. Northeimer, Sr., 90, died on Saturday, Sept. 29, at the
Essa Flory
Hospice Center. He was born on Aug. 13, 1917 in Eagle, Chester
County. His
father was J. Charles Northeimer and his mother was Sarah Keenen
Northeimer. He
was the last of a family of four brothers and seven sisters. His
funeral will
be held on Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran
Church, 221 E.
Main St., New Holland, PA 17557.

Fay Nell Pannell, 76, of Ocean Springs, Miss., went to heaven
surrounded by her
loving family on Sept. 30, 2007. She is preceded in death by her
parents,
Johnnie and Tessola Carnley; sister, Aubrey Overstreet and
brother, Jerry
Carnley. Burial will follow at Community of Christ Church
Cemetery.
