Obituary of one of our long time Mail List members and avid genealogy
researcher.

Obituary: Mary Elizabeth M. Keefer
( 1 July 1935 - 19 May 2009 Anderson, McDonald County, MO)

Mary Elizabeth Marselle Keefer, was born 1 July 1935 in Bellair, MO., d/o
Mr. Clyde Marselle and Ila Corrine Sherman Cooper, and Elizabeth passed on
19 May 2009 in Anderson, MO., while under medical care.

Mary Elizabeth Marselle was married first in 1951, to Mr. Gail Jeffries,
and married her second husband 1954 in Clinton, Iowa to Mr. Jack Keefer.

Mary Elizabeth Marselle Keefer was preceded in death by: her parents,
One brother: Clyde Marselle, Jr.;
One sister: Evelyn Juanita Marselle;

Mary Elizabeth Marselle Keefer leaves surviving the following:
FOUR sons;
Seven Grandchildren;
Two Great grandchildren;
And a host of other family and friends who will miss her.

Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Marselle Keefer, described by her loving sons as not
being an overtly outgoing person managed to make many friends through her
love of music, genealogy, painting of pictures, quilting, and is remembered
by the many friends and people through her voluntary research of genealogy
for the McDonald County Library and contributed her personal research
activities for other Newspaper and Television Articles and reports. "Liz" was an
active member of the Daughters of The American Revolution (DAR).

Mary Elizabeth " Liz" Marselle Keefer, was also a member of the Red Hat
Society.

Funeral Services 22 May 2009, were by: Ozark Funeral Homes Staff, Anderson,
MO and burial is next to her Mother.

Her D. C. is on file Missouri Dept. Health and Senior Services.
