Well, the only... and I *do* mean ONLY name I have from that line is -+-
PHARISS. What I have is circumstantial evidence that a Martha J (possibly
martha JAQUESS?) married an Unknown PHARISS, was widowed, thus becoming
known as 'Martha J. PHARISS" and married Alvin Dowell ELLIS. She was
listed, by Ransom A. eLLIS jr in his book as "Sister or aunt of Rebecca
Jane JACQUES" who married morgan Calton ELLIS. The PHARISS surname is all
thatr's left of -?- PHARISS who must have married her and then died. I
have been unable to find any reference to anyone named PHARISS married to a
Martha, let alone a Martha JAQUESS.

Anyone else out there have mysterious PHARISS ancestors? Yet another brick
in this blasted wall!
