Then I meet a cousin of mine. I had heard about her for years and I am
sure that we had even attended the same family gatherings from time to
time. but we had never actually talked. A few weeks ago I gave her a call,
and I was invited to her home to see what info on our family she had
gathered. I didn't need to be ask twice. I grabbed up my sister (who knew
this cousin <being the youngest some times has it disadvantages>) and was
standing on her door step bright and early the next morning. Not only did
I have a wonderful time, talking old family stories, but I was loaned a
notebook that was over 6 inches tall, packed full of dates, names,
marriages and stories. Needless to say I got very little sleep the next
few days. I stayed up late and got up earl!

enough to borrow anything, I try to return it as soon as possible.) I took
it back only to be loaned another, of equal size and interest. These
notebooks are well organized, easy to use and read. I have taken a picture
of this wonderful lady and have it framed and setting on my desk, so from
now on any time I start to feel a little cocky about the info I have and
the research I have done, I just have to look up to remember I am really
just a novice.
