In 1910 Salina was in Mishuabtna in Atchinson and that is the last documentation I have of her. It was emurated on April 18th 1910. Is Gone but Not Forgotten a book?

Dear Mary,

Gone But Not Forgotten lists Salina as Salina Good and states her parents are John and Susanna Harmon Good (page 160). The birth and death dates are the same as yours. John and Susanna are also buried in High Creek. John's listing states "born Jan 1, 1812 Washington County, TN - died April 23, 1878 - wife Susannah Harmon". Susanna's information states "born October 30, 1816 - died January 25, 1905, husband John Good." (page 150). There is no Helton listed in the cemetery book.

Salina's daughter lived in Fremont county, Iowa in 1910. Since that is not too far away from Atchison county, it would be a good place to look for Salina's death certificate if you haven't already looked there - she may have spent her last days at her daughter's home and died there and then been buried in Atchison County with her husband.

Atchison County also has many newspapers on microfilm at the county library. If you do not have then, obtaining the obituaries of all of these people would be a great resource.

If you have any more questions I would be glad to look in my resources. You can contact me at

I'm looking for information on the wife of Albert Frank Kellison. I have two
different names. At first my research found a Myrtle Beedle but he is buried
with a Jessie Ann. Albert was born Dec 30 1879 in Watson Missouri. He died May
15 1957 in St. Joesph Missouri. He is buried in High Creek cemetery. His parents
are John and Viola Bell Kellison

I'm also inquiring about Viola Bell's parents. Benjamin Plaster and Salina
Helton Plasters. According to censuses they lived in Atchinson county for many
years.Benjamin was born Nov 5 1836 in Morgan Illionis. He died Feb 17 1908.He is
buried in High Creek Cemetery. His parents are Issac Plasters and Elizabeth
McConnell Plasters. Salina was born Nov 10 1835 in Tennessee. She died Oct 17
1910. She is also buried in High Creek Cemetery. Even though she died in 1910
when I go to Missouri Digital Heritage to find her death certificate in the
1910-1958 collection I cannot find it. So her death date might now be accurate.
I have no names of parents.
