I don't think I can give you real help except to confirm that Kife Thompson and family lived in Int'l Falls. They lived next door to us in the early 1950s and were good family friends. We lived in the Riverview neighborhood when it was first being built. Our last name was Thompson also but not related. Inez (sp?) was his wife, Kathleen born several years before me - so before 1946. She married Tom Riley I think. There were twin boys, Robert and Richard (I think) born about 1950 and a girl Nancy, I think, born about 1956. Kife owned a lumber yard (and maybe a lumber camp?) and more...I don't know anything else about the family, that I can remember at the moment and my parents are dead now.
