Lolene, we who do not have computers...and like me, 85 years old, and do
not intend to buy one, still want to understand our dna the same as
anyone. I am on WEBTV...and it was sufficient until last uear when
FAMILYTREE changed the format and now I don't use the flash it takes to
access the page. I have someone who if I get a 37 marker match, will go
there for me, to see if it is my surname. There really is no need tio
answer the male test of YDNA unless it is 37 preferrably 67 or more
markers. It didn't help me to only find out what part of Europe or
whererever the surname was prominent centures ago. I was looking, like
most to find a real live descendant of my ancestor to work with. But
unless enough people test...we can't find a match. We have recieved
well over 2,000 12 marker matches...so I don't even bother with them. I
got no surname matches at 37 markers.Just waiting for someone to test.
Gene C Willis, Alabama.
