Mr. Louis R. WOLTHUIS, 4818 E. "X" Ave., Vicksburg, Died Saturday morning, August 29, 1987 at his home. Louis was born September 15, 1934 in Vicksburg, the son of John and Myrtle (HENDRICKS) WOLTHUIS and and resided in this area all of his life. He served in the army during the Korean Conflict, loved fishing and was an outdoors person, he loved mechanical things and bowling. He was a self-employed mechanic. In 1979 he married Sharon BRIGHAM who survives. Also surviving are one son, Gregg WOLTHUIS of Vicksburg; two daughters and two step-daughters, Wendy HUNGERFORD of Augusta, MI; Amy MOMTGOMERY of Springfield, MI; Sheryl and Wayne SHARP of Rockford, MI; Dawn and Ken TEUNE of Ketchikan, Alaska; his mother, Mrs. Myrtle WOLTHUIS of Vicksburg; two brothers and their spouses, John R. and Joyce of Vicksburg; William A., Jane of Lawton; three sisters and their husbands, Mary Ann and Al KLIMEK of Stewart, Florida; Elsie and William DESNESS of Vicksburg; Betty and David WHEELER !
of Mattawan; three grandchildren, Dusty and Josh HUNGERFORD and Craig SHARP, several nieces and nephews. A baby sister and his father preceded him in death. The family will receive friends at the Rupert-Durham Funeral Home, Vicksburg today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and anytime Monday where the family will be present from 7 to 9. Services will be held Tuesday at 1 pm with Rev. Lloyd Hansen of the Augusta United Methodist Church officiating with interment in Vicksburg Cemetery.
