Edward L. NEAL - Passed away at home on April 8, 2005 with his wife and daughter at his side. He was born February 2, 1924 in Kalamazoo, MI to Lewis and Bessie NEAL. He served in the First Marine Division in WWII. He married Helen A. WILCOX on September 13, 1949, and they had 56 wonderful years together. They has (sic) one daughter, Penny L. LUKINS and son-in-law, Robert F. LUKINS of Mattawan; 2 grandchildren, Phillip E. LUKINS of Mattawan, and Merrilee H. LUKINS of Paw Paw. He also has a brother, Maurice and Rosemary NEAL of Wilsonville, OR; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, mother and 3 brothers. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. He will be buried at a later date at Fort Custer.
