Mrs. DeKeizer passed away late Friday evening, April 22, 2005 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence. She was born May 17, 1904 in Grand Rapids, daughter of the late Robert and Nellie DeJager. Tillie married the late John DeKeizer in August 1945. They were active members of Hope Reformed Church and were very active in Gideon's. She loved to write letters to her family and friends and missionaries. They also did volunteer mission work for many years in Annville, KY. Also preceding her in death are three brothers, Peter, John and Robert DeJager; and one sister, Elizabeth Orlebeck. Surviving are several nieces; one nephew from the Grand Rapids, and Rochester, NY areas. Tillie had an "adopted" family here in Kalamazoo, Dick and Mary Ann Moore and family; and Ed and Dorothy Hilton, who were Tillie's close church friends. She also remained close with the Arie VanOoyen family, who they sponsored from the Netherlands. Funeral services for Mrs. DeKeizer will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Ho!
pe Reformed Church, 910 Jenks Blvd., with Rev. Kent Frens officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Private interment will be in Grand Prairie Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to Hope Reformed Church or Gideon's. The family is being served by Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Memorial Chapel, 622 S.
