Passed away March 27, 2005 with his wife, Peggy, at his side. Arthur was born in Grand Rapids, MI, on December 30, 1920 to Frederick and Marie Yokom. He served with the U.S. Army Air Corp, 78th Fighter Group during WW II. He met and married his wife, Peggy (Fitzpatrick), while serving in England. They would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 18, 2005. After discharge from the service, Art worked as a tool maker at General Motors for 30 years. Surviving are his wife, Peggy; daughter, Lynda Cullfier (JR Smith) of Kalamazoo, MI; and son, David (Toni) of Amelia Island, FL; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Robert of Mesick, MI; and several nieces and nephews. Art enjoyed hunting and fishing for many years. More recently he enjoyed bowling and playing golf with his special friends. Cremation has taken place. The cremains will be interred at Fort Custer National Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later d!
