Hi Gwen
Welcome to the Middleton family of sort. My name is Ken and I have been trying to search the Middleton's off and on for a couple years now . How are you linked and to which ones. Iam looking for Alexander and his twin Brother Robert that came over to Canada in 1905. Their parents were
James & Jane and they had 10 kids.

Subject: [Middleton-Canada] New List-Admin and Roll Call...
Good Evening List!
I hope everyone is having a pleasant evening (and why not, with the
warm weather - at least where I am!). My name is Gwen, and within the past
few days I became your new list-admin.
I am the moderator for, not only this list, but also the Cavanagh-L,
Cavanaugh-L, Kavanaugh, Needham-L, Can-NW-Territory-L, Can-Ont-Carleton-L,
Can-Ont-Lanark-L, Can-Yukon-L, Canada-Obits-L, CoPhilli-L, FlCharlo-L,
GaBaker-L, GaClinch-L, Ma-Mdx-Acton-L, Ma-Obits-L, MaSouthEssex-L,
MnCotton-L, MnFillmo-L, MnSherbu-L, Pa-Carbon-Cemeteries-L, Pa-Del-Woodlyn-L,
Protestant-L, and Unionist-Culture-L lists at rootsweb. (Though it looks
like a lot, it really isn't. Most of the lists are pretty small.)
I am currently in my second year of university (Trent) and will
probably do a joint major in history and maybe anthropology (I haven't
decided on that one yet). After I finish my schooling, I hope to become an
archivist. I live at home (because it's cheaper!) here in Oshawa, Ontario,
Canada with my mom, our dog (Princess), and two dwarf rabbits (Maggie and
Emily).
Most of my research at the moment concerns Ontario ancestors who nicely
stayed in one area for generations! I also voluntarily transcribe Ontario
death registrations (mainly Lanark and Carleton counties) and am also working
on the census transcription project that the OntarioGenWeb is hosting.
(Where I find the time, I have absolutely no clue!) Is anyone involved with
any other projects, etc that you think the list would like to know about?
Though my connection with the Middleton family in Canada is only one
of interest at this point (but you just never know when or where or who
you'll find as family, is my motto), I think a roll call would be a good idea
- don't you? (for those of you unfamiliar with a roll call, it's simply a
listing of your Middleton ancestors for Canada - though you don't have to
limit yourself concerning place).
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns (or just want to
chat!) please don't hesitate to contact me at either
or
Hope to hear from you all soon!
Cheers,
Gwen Cameron

all week at the beach, it’s often the momentary rainbows that we remember."
